Rachel L. Culver
Rachel L. Culver focuses her practice on family formation, expertly guiding her clients through the complexities of building a family. Passionate about helping people build families, Rachel represents clients in all aspects of fertility and assisted reproductive technology (ART) law, including surrogacy and gestational carrier agreements, egg, and sperm donor agreements, known donor arrangements, embryo donation and adoption, and parentage matters.
No two families are alike, and every client arrives with a unique experience and goals. Rachel strives to achieve these goals and provide compassionate legal services to all persons regardless of race, gender, or sexual orientation.
A Seattle native, Rachel received her undergraduate degree from Gonzaga University and graduated with honors from Seattle University School of Law. She currently lives in South Seattle with her partner, a rambunctious toddler and pet greyhound.
Helping her clients realize their dreams of creating a family, Rachel understands the legal process can often seem daunting and strives to provide holistic, seamless, efficient, and quality representation. She respects the sensitivity of reproductive challenges and is committed to making this chapter of your story as comfortable as possible.
From drafting and preparation of agreements, to navigating disputes, she will handle the process from the start to finish, including obtaining any pre-birth orders and finalizing adoptions. Whether you are a same-sex couple or located internationally, her services are available to intended parents, surrogates, and donors alike.
“The foundation of my relationship with every person I represent is respect. Everyone should have the opportunity to create the family they want.”
